Overview
SMR Agency is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. In this position, you’ll use data, reporting, and practical analysis to help improve the way our supply chain operates. You’ll work with different teams and external partners to spot inefficiencies, control costs, and help keep products and processes moving smoothly from one stage to the next.
Job Responsibilities:
Review supply chain data, operational reports, and performance results to identify patterns, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Create clear reports, summaries, and dashboards that give management useful information for making business decisions.
Analyze current processes to uncover opportunities to lower expenses, improve productivity, and make day-to-day operations more efficient.
Work with suppliers, vendors, logistics partners, and internal departments to address issues and keep supply activities running efficiently.
Track important supply chain KPIs and regularly review performance against established goals and targets.
Assist with introducing improved workflows, systems, and technology designed to make supply chain operations more effective.
Research industry developments and emerging supply chain practices and bring forward ideas that could improve our operations.
Work Duties:
Keep a close eye on supply chain performance and key metrics, identifying potential problems before they have a significant operational impact.
Coordinate communication between suppliers, logistics teams, purchasing, operations, and other relevant departments.
Help plan and implement process improvements focused on increasing efficiency, reducing unnecessary costs, and improving overall productivity.
Investigate the underlying causes of delays, shortages, errors, and other supply chain disruptions, then suggest practical solutions.
Take part in cross-functional meetings and contribute analysis that helps ensure supply chain activities support wider company objectives.
Maintain accurate records and organize relevant data so that supply chain performance can be reviewed and improved over time.
